  2. I think the greatest thing I have found since being on Shyftr is Garfield minus Garfield, was a favorite of mine growing up and to see it in this state, it's beautifully depressing - suggs   - 04/24/2008

  1. yet more good popcorn to be bought. i will say that w. smith certainly does not mind working. he appears everywhere it seems. - MageThufer   - 04/24/2008
  2. I have to stand it stark disagreement with the author... This movie looks awesome, I think. Hilarious trailer. This certainly looks worthy of the July 4th spot. - Matt   - 04/24/2008
  3. I think the author's just still mad that its getting higher box office predictions than Ironman. - suggs   - 04/24/2008

  1. The blackout here in NYC was a couple of the most fun days ever - suggs   - 04/22/2008
  2. Unless you walked down 39 flights of stairs like I did to pick up 2 gallons of water; only to then walk it all up 39 flights of stairs. That was rough. That being said, Bill Geist did a classic piece with a handheld video camera that day. I wonder if its online somewhere. - Dave   - 04/22/2008
  3. We did meet our neighbor for the first time that day though. We had to open our front door and then they opened theirs (directly across from us) so we had a nice cross wind. It was so hot I remember our dog was digging and digging on our bed for hours trying to cool off and get comfortable. - Randi   - 04/23/2008

  1. That's pretty good. My wife's aunt, an architect on the Stanford Memorial church (a main centerpiece of their campus), painstakingly carved "God Bless the Bears" inside every pew... in favor of their rival, UC Berkeley. Just as good! - louisgray   - 04/11/2008

  1. The reaction to Buckner was amazing yesterday and the standing ovation for five minutes was well deserved. Buckner did not blow the 86 series for us. The one time McNamara doesn't replace him in the ninth with defensive replacement Dave Stapleton like he did EVERY game of the season. Or Roger Clemens not staying in or asking to leave (depends on if you ask McNamara or Clemens), or how bout the fact that was in fact game SIX, they were well on the way to blowing that game before Buckner, and then went right on and blew game seven.

I'm glad he's back, he had an amazing career overshadowed by one play.

  2. Someone is still salty 22 years later. - Dave   - 04/09/2008
  3. Not salty really, just supporting a player who was unfairly attacked who was a great player for us for many many years

ok and maybe a lil salty
